you want to put a factory one where there isnt one now? if so im pretty sure it should have the mounting stuff already up there youll just have to cut out a hole for the console.

alright now try to pull your headliner down a little and there should be a little place where you can put a screw in. you put the console up there then slide it back a little and it will kinda lock in place then you put a screw in it up close to the glass. hope this helps some

I pulled the headliner alittle and found a rounded out peice of foam that is outlining it feels like an oval hole in the metal. Thats my biggest question. How to get to the holes if there are any and to plug this thing up and see if it works. What if i pull the headliner alittle more how hard would it be to re-glue it back up so that its alittle easier to see what i am poking at.

take off your a-pillars and your rear pillars, take out your light up top and the headliner should come right out

I just did my overhead console and i taped into the positive wire that goes to the dome light and i used the ground wire going to the dome light. It was Money on the first shot. I push the dome light button and the dome light comes on and not the map lights and i just push the map lights and they come on. Even when the truck is off they come on.
