Default ? about tire size for everyone rollin 20's

I just bought some 20 x 8" wheels and was wondering what size and brand of tires you guys had. Should i go wider in the back? The front needs to have a smaller side wall, i've got about 30 inches to the bottom of my fender.

I'm running 255/35ZR20s all the way around on a 4/6 drop. I really think that my next set of tires will be 275/35's up front with 295/40's in the rear.

I'm not sure if those will fit on an 8" wheel though.

Well, they will fit pretty nice, but they will overhang just a little, it is good though, since the tire will protect the rim from a curb. 8.5" rims hold that tire perfectly and for a 295, you want a 9" rim to give just the right look. I got 8.5" rims, and the 275s I got have about 1/4" lip of tire before a curb would hit a rim, which has saved my chrome twice already. My friend put 295s on his 8.5" rims, and they look a little stretched, doable, but a little stretched.

I went with Boyd's timeless 6 with 275/45-20 up front and 305/50-20 in the back. You think it will look alright? Will the 305's be too much?
