Claybar -> swirl cutter applied with a buffer -> polish applied with a buffer -> wax applied by hand or buffer

Porter Cable buffers are about $150-$175 for the kit with pads and a velcro backing plate. Very good investment if you wanna keep your paint looking good.

Go to www.adamspolishes.com - you can use all of his products in direct sunlight, and they work great

I use an Absorber to dry my truck. I have really hard water so I use a clay bar, Mequiar's fine cut cleaner, and sometimes 3M perfect it glaze or rubbing compound to get the spots off. Then I go back with Mequiar's cleaner wax then some Gold Class.

Mr. Clean auto dry system. Rinse it VERY well with the filtered AutoDry feature and no spots. Personally, I don't know how I did it without it.

just use a leaf blower to get rid of the water. Everyone will think you're crazy but it works awesome and the water can't hide in the nooks

I am always a critic on crap like that but it works great. You have to use their soap though.
