I go over mine with a chamois then right away with a microfiber towel right after I make a pass with the chamois. Works great, just experiment with different types of cloth. I have found keep one towel or chamois to get the majority of the water and a microfiber to finish and get all the smears and streaks.

well, you could work on your drying techniques to avoid the spots, but if you are looking to just remove them a good QD spray will suffice.

For my black truck I just make a first pass with a towel and get the majority of the water off. Then I go over it again with a dry towel. And then with a microfiber or similar type rag I finish the little bits thats left. works for me and I dont get spots my way. Oh and dry your black truck in the shade.

Bingo!! It's a long and tedious process but the results are worth it. After that go over the truck with good wax, like Meguiar's Gold Class. I love black. It shows how well I take care of my truck.
