Check out the thread I made on them:

https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...-800-a-517351/

Basically I'm using the coil-overs in place of 3" drop springs to achieve my desired drop, using spindles for a total of 5" drop.

Compared to the 3" drop springs I was running, the coil-overs are night and day different, much more controlled and adjustable, I can swap spring rates and change shock settings really easy.

A lot of it has to due with the shocks, with the drop springs I also had single adjustable QA1's (twin-tube design iirc) but never liked them, just my preference.

Cost me a little over $700 + I've bought a second set of springs since.

Haven't had time to figure out the rear yet, just need to measure and find a shock that fits.

You should also take into consideration our different goals, I believe you mentioned drag wheels? A drag set-up will require a different approach than what I'm after (canyon cruiser).

Yeah I drag it to hear and drag it there hahahhaha ( it's broken now lol) but I am looking into a new change for the truck to be more street-able. Looking for looks now for the everyday drive, not just looking dragged out. I am wanting to run autocross and canyon carver style handling(not as low as you , but low) I recently got hooked on shifter karts and now I want the truck to run similar..... not just a straight line. I'm thinking 2/4-3/5 for starting out, and then taking it from there

Cool so our goals our pretty similar then, karting is super fun, I grew up racing, thats why I want my truck to handle too.

Honestly if I didn't like the way my truck looked so much, 3/5 is probably what I would be at.

My trucks current stance.... The fronts are a bit smaller then the rear by 1.5 but even with regular tires/wheels it is really raked out... I will try to figure out how to get these pics to post bigger.

What size tires would you guys go with on 20' wheels and 2/4 drop? Will a 2/4 have me sitting level?

I am going to be getting wheels here in the upcoming weeks. Just gonna rock some 20' SS wheels. Truck will be lowered 2/4 a little later. So I dont want to have to swap tires when that happens. Whats a good size tire that will look good sitting stock hieght but still work when it comes down a little?

But just to give you the idea I was trying to make, I lowered it 3" in the rear and the nose still drags the ground....... I know the front tires are small in that pic, they were my spare until my proper sized wheels came in. But you get the point lol

Damn I see what you mean, *** sits way to high compared to the front.

What size tires do you have on it?

Best bet would probably be a flip kit in the back with a 1" lift shackle so you would be at 5", or if you only want 4" get hangars for the front of the leafs.

Then figure out what you have up front, and what you want to do. 2/4 and 3/5 both sit pretty level. If you wanted 2" up front get stock springs and put spindles on, for 3" spindles and a 1" drop spring would be good.

If you wanted to do coils you'll have to measure at your desired ride hight first so you can get the right size shocks.

Tired are stock size, and I already lowered the rear 3" in those pics....... Do you think that someone installed 2" springs bin the front and never dropped the rear? Or should a 2/4 sit lower in the front then it currently does now

Ya it looks like they might have, for reference here is my truck when it was stock on stock size tire (29" tall)

And here it was at 2/2, rear sits higher than the front, a 2/4 drop would be level (maybe a tad rear bias).

When you guys dropped to 2/4 did you have to shim the rear for pinion angles?
