ok i know some one has one and i was wondering did you have a prob with it having a big gap at the top where it didnt fit flush with the cab. i think im gonnna try and return mine tomm. but first im gonna leave it installed and let them see it and see what they say about it. is there anyone else out there that makes a 3rd brake light kit like the trendz.

 

I have one. Their Customer Service Sucks. I called about it and someone was supossed to call me back, that was a year ago and still no word. You might want to try and flip the plate/lense over. It fits a lil better one way than the other.

I did not use the foam tape that come with the kit
I use some rope caulk - buy it at a hardware store
It got the lens to sit flush and
I also turned both ways
It fits better one way vs the other.
I was going to return it too.
Get the rope caulk - much better that the foam tape.
Worked for me.

 

I bought mine used from a guy that had already put sealant around the cover, so I didnt have to do that part. I installed mine at night which was a damn mistake and took longer that it should have, but you have to fiddle around with it to make it work. I was thinking to myself, WTF is this plate thingy, but I finally got it to work after stripping the two screws it came with. I had to use the factory ones that aren't silver. Damn drill guns!

 

Ditto! I use it as a paper weight now. The fit absolutely sucked!
