Question 295/40 on a 8.5 inch wheels?

well its time for some new tires, i want to go with a smaller overall diameter but lil more on the width, its said that the smallest width for the tire is a 10 inch wheel. i pretty sure some of you guys have this size tire on an 8.5 i just want to know how they look
thanks for any info

I am running a 275/35 on my 20x8s. Don't think a 295/40 should be a problem on a 8.5

You'll be fine. I'm running 305/35/20's on mine with no issues.

Go for it, they'll fit fine. The pix of my truck on my profile are 295/40's on a 8.5 inch rim. Take a look if you want to get an idea of how they fit.

I wonder how 315s would do on an 8.5" wide wheel?

They'll do just fine too. I was initially going with the Toyo's 315/35/20. A friend had them on his truck with 275/40 fronts, also on NNBS 8.5" like mine. I tried them on mine and was barely able to tuck them (rolled fenders). They just didn't have the 255/40/20 I wanted/needed for the fronts, so I opted for the Nitto's.
