285's on a 16x10?

just wondering if they will work on that rim? Im planning on putting 285's on my stock 04 rims untill i can get some new 16x8's or 10's. I just wanted to make sure those would work fine with a 10inch rim

thanks for the info.. now just gotta pick a damn tire lol..
lift kit goes on next monday so i need tires shortly afterwards.. just a 3inch body lift since thats all i want(owned 4 trucks with body lifts so i like them) lol

I like my goodyear at/d2 tires is what they are called i believe descent in the mud and quiet as a mouse on the highway. get those or the infamous bfgoodrich all terrains i have had good luck with both.
