Question 2500 Sprngs for 1500?

Hello, I am new to the forum and had a question. I was told that you could possibly use the 2500 truck springs on a Silverado 1500 and get an inch of lift without other mods. Is this true?

If you swapped out rear springs I bet youd get closer to 2" of lift.

What about the fronts? What should I do about those?

You have a torsion bar front end, If you want to just lift the front up 2" then you can just adjust the torsion bars to give you 2" of lift. But to go any bigger than that your gonna have to get a suspension lift. I dont know if swapping our rear springs would even be worth it, youd be better off just doing an add-a-leaf of a block if you want to go a little bigger in the back.

Thank you for the information. I think I will just go ahead and put 285x75x16 AT KO's on it and call it a day.
