Default 2006 silverado headlight adjustment problem

i bought a set of smoked headlight. they are the exact same as the originals, just smoked lenses. my problem is the lights both shine off to the right. the left is almost where the right should be, and the right side is in the ditch... they have a adjustment screw on top, but it only adjusts up and down. i was told theres no adjustment for left and right, and ive tried shimming the mounts behind the headlights with washers, with no real difference. anyone ever have this problem or know how to fabricate/adjust factory style headlights?

I had the same problem with mine but they were projectors and on a sierra. I don't think you can adjust left and right... I just learned to live with it

i think thats gonna be the deal... ive got some body spacers and control arm spacers, from 1/8 to 1/16in thick, i think if i get them behind the the actually headlight mount, like the brackets they fit into, i might have a winner. i got one 1/8th behind it the other day just dropping it and luckily getting it right, but it didnt do too much. i think im gonna have to take it apart a little more to reach the top and bottoms screws. if successful, ill put up some pics and how to's. waitin for it to warm up a little first, since its gotta be done after dark lol

Are your bulbs seated into the backs of the housings perfectly? If not, it would affect where the beam points.
