2005 work with 2008 tire sensors?

2005 work with 2008 tire sensors?
I've got a 2005 Tahoe Z71. it has the Tire pressure sensors in the tires. If I put some wheels off of a 2008 Tahoe also with Sensors on, will they still work? Do I need to get them programmed or will I have to swap out the sensors?
