Default 2000 silverado extended cab 2wd few questions

So just got my silverado not that long ago, previous owner said when he got the truck it was almost sitting on the ground on 22" wheels and was very low.

So he took all the lowering stuff off and just put a leveling kit on. Well its about perfectly level and has aftermarket style shocks all the way around and rides good. I had the bed off last week doing the fuel pump on the truck and was thinking about lowering it down some more.

Since it already has the leveling kit and shocks from when it was lower i should be fine there. What other parts should I need to get it down lower. Its back on the factory wheels and tires now and they are about brand new since they were never used.

Its fully loaded lether, 4 door stlye 2000 silverado LS truck with the 4.8 and flowmasters
just a good daily driver truck thats pretty clean.

spindles vs control arms? and what to do about lowering the rear since it already has drop shackles? springs?

2" spindles and springs, and flip kit. Yes, go ahead and do the notch.

If it was already "on the ground" before it should already be notched?

I'd contact the previous owner and see what parts were on it to get an idea of what was used... JMO
