20" wheel size suggestions
#1
Hello. I'm going to be getting some 20's pretty soon and Id like some size suggestions.
My truck is pretty low, it has a 5/7 drop. Right now I have 17" Timeless 6's. They are 17x8, I'll have to measure the backspacing, and I'm running a 255/50 17 tire. Should I just get the same backspacing for the 20" wheels? Anyone else running 20's on a lowered truck?
Thanks

Hey Slammed,I am running20x8 with a 5" backspacing.I am running a 3"4.5"drop with a 275/45/20 tire.Big tire,but at the time I thought thats what i wanted.Now I can't drop it anymore with that tire.Next tire I am going with is a 255/35/20.If I were you,I would go with a 5.5" backspacing on a 8" wheel if any way possible.If you are planning on running 8" wheels.

I know the tire you have. Is it the GoodYear tire? I know alot of people that run it because it is so cheap. That tire is almost 30" tall.
I was looking at a 275/35 20 tire, which is only 27.6" tall, and the one I'm running now is 27.1" tall, so there wouldn't be much different.

I'm running 20X8.5" Boyd Spyders with 6.0" of backspacing. The tires are 255/35 Michelin Pilot Sports...I really like the tires. I think my next tires are going to be staggered 275 rear and 255 front.
