Default 1996 Chevy Silverado

I just picked up an older chevy. It is in stock form and everything (including engine) is brand new.

I am looking to lower it (3-4"), find a cowl hood, a bed cap, and a billet grille. Because it is an older truck I haven't had much luck finding a good website which sells aftermarket parts for it.

Can you guys help me out and post some websites or companies who would specialize or offer any of the parts i listed above? Also, anyone have any experience with the Gibson side-exit cat back exhaust? thanks.

Congrats on the truck. I still really like the OBS trucks. Goodmark Industries has steel cowl induction hoods that are high quality. There are several makers of billet grilles, Carriage Works and Trenz are a couple. For lowering, Belltech has good kits. There are several bed covers so maybe a search would find some companies. I also haven't used the gibson exhaust.

Maybe those will get you started.

It's always a good idea to buy yourself something nice for Christmas!

Here's the grille that I bought from them installed on my truck....

you can fit a 20inch+ rim. Just need tot alk to a dealer to find out the correct back spacing and also what size tire you can go with so you do not rub.

I have the Gibson side exhause for my truck, I really like it. Too bad I just sold my belltech 3" drop springs this week or i could have hooked you up. I have used Belltech on both of my OBS trucks and had really good results. Check stylinconcepts.com, gotfathercustoms.com for parts of all sorts. you can also check on fullsizechevy.com or gmfullsize.com, they have all kinds of OBS stuff for sale. Pick up an issue of truckin and you'll find just about anything you will need, that is where i started when i had my first truck, and still use it lots to find parts.
