Default 18" Tahoe/Z71 Wheels...lets see em!!

Just picked up a set of these (pic attached). Want to see some pictures and most importantly, need suggestions on tires....size, brand, etc. Thanks in advance!

Don't have the Z-71 wheels, but have the Escalades. Tires are 265/60/18 Firestone Destination AT.

Thanks. After a small bit of research, I am leaning towards a 285/50/18, possibly Nitto or Toyo. This is a daily driver, will see snow, rain, highway, some off-road, etc. Need a good long lasting, well performing tire.

Will the 285/50 rub up front?? 04 Crew with rear shackles btw.

I would probably say so. My 265s rub only when I'm turning sharp, like when I'm parking. Other than that, I have no problems. It's a stock '07

is it really???? I wondered about that.

I had plans to lower it, but have since decided against it. Still use it to pull trailers, haul quads/dirt bikes, etc. It does more work than play.

What would be your suggestion?

well, as a comparisson the nnbs trucks sit higher than the nbs trucks, and i ran a 265/50/20 on my 20's when i had em and my truck was dropped 4/6 and the tires filled the wheel wells perfectly

to have those 18's with some 285/50/18 rubber you'll probably need to drop the truck 4/7 to fill the wheel wells. if you wana stay stock height and just have to run the 18's, i'd run some nitto terra grapplers with a 70 or 75 series sidewall. you'd be best off just getting some oem 20's and running the 275/55/20 tires that come on em and runnin like a 1/3 drop.

Cool, thanks for the pic and info. I am getting the 18s for $200 is the main reason I am going this route. You've been very helpful, appreciate it!
