Default 18" Rims w/ what size tires?

Im looking into 18" rims, for my 2004 Tahoe, w/ 3.73's in the rear....What tire size should I go with when I have the stock height?

Are you going for bling or are you wanting to make it quick?? I have 20's on my Vortech supercharged Tahoe and I wouldnt go any smaller. It will hopefully be pretty quick when Im done, but I needed a little more wheel. I have a 285/50 on mine. Im also lowering mine 2/3 since there is still so much gap.

I'd go with a 285/60/18 on those with a stock hieght. But with a 2/3 drop , 50's would look great.

I went with a 255/55/18 Toyo on my B. Coddingtons. They are slightly shorter than the stock height. In addition, my combo is also very light at 50lbs.

I have 285/60/18s. I am at stock height now but I going to drop the rear in the next few days. I am going to post some pics in a bit.

Today I finally got around to measuring my wheels the way Hypertech says to and it was a bit different than if you measure ground to top of tire. my 285/60/18s were 30.875 if you measure from the ground up. when I did it the hypertech way I got 95/pi which is almost 30.25. just a weird observation.
