Can you fit a 16x10 rim and 305/70/16 nitto grapplers on a 2001 1500 z71 with the ford torsion keys installed?

what size do the 305's come out to? I had 16x10 Weld rims on 33" BFG All-Terrains with a 3" body lift on my '02 Z71. I had to cut the bottom foglight valance on the sides because the tires rubbed.

did you have any problems mounting a 16x10 on a 33inch tire? What were the dimensions on the tires? I wanted the bfg's or nittos, but the manufactures recommend rim width only goes up to 9.5. Can I still get away with it?

I didnt have any problems at all. I dont quite remember the dimensions of the tires. Maybe 33x10.5 I think. I"ll try to scan a pic of it here shortly and post it up.

I just installed my 305/70/16 BFG ATs today on American Racing Baja 172 16x10s. They look AWESOME. However, I couldnt get them to seat to save my life. I actually had to perform a rather unsafe act.... the ole lighter fluid/lighter trick. Worked like a charm and Im glad I didnt go with 8" wheels

Ill try and post a few pics in a day or so.

Did it myself in a couple of hours @ the shop. Its nothing you cant do yourself if you have a good weekend. Typically cost is around 300/350 though.
