Man, I really like that truck. The GMC front end looks tough.

Can you measure the gap from the top of the tire to the fender on the front and back?

OK, measured gap by putting a square across top of tire tread and then from that up to the wheelhouse lip. Are you ready? FRT=5.0", RR=8.5"

I'm sure it has dropped a tad since new...probably drop some more I would think as I get some miles on it (currently less than 200).

The lowered pic looks good but a bit much maybe? That would be a 4/6 drop or so, I'd still say a 2/4 is perfect for me....I was gonna photoshop it too, never got around to it so thanks!!!! There looks to be an extra little airdam across the bottom of the front bumper, that should removable but have not had a chance to really look at that...figures as soon as the new truck shows up everything else needs attention too!!

One other thing that is really interesting is the real time fuel economy. People tend to tend to think of mileage as a set thing (ie my car gets 25mpg), but when its being calculated constantly you can really see how driving affects mileage. 1/2 throttle is like 3mpg, all the way up to 34mpg at steady 50mph or so and then 140mpg when coasting down. I mean I understood that all along but to actually see it is neat...

I think a good drop for a daily driver is 2/3 on these trucks
belltech has got 2" spindle and 3" shackles for a reasonable price

Thanks for the measurements. I saw one the other day and was thinking WOW that has to be 8-10" gap on the back, looks like I was pretty close.

Yeah, front might be a little low in that pic. With those fender gaps I'd probably go with something like a 3/5 drop to get it just slightly raked and leave some travel.

The fuel economy readout is nice to see, it's almost like a video game trying to get a higher score.

Holy Toledo, that's some gap in the rear! 3/5 or even 3/6 (if possible?) would be real nice IMO.

Yeah, 3/6 would probably be better.
