Im loving it. It needs to be leveled or lowered, and nice choice on the 20's

Yeah no idea why GM put them so high up, mine isn't even bad compared to the larger trucks. Don't test drive unless you are ready to buy...I'm coming from a 97 Silverado which was a great little truck, but no comparison ride or handling wise.

The 20's make the truck, the stock 17's get lost in those wheelwells (overall diameter of tires about the same but visually the 20's have some size to them-ie, they are freakin huge! ) I figured it was easier to order 20's and get the street suspension too and then buy some 17" knockoffs for winter or whatever (yeah, sorry, this truck will be my daily driver).

I'm going to try to keep it looking stock so no real big drops, just clean it up a bit and then get to the power. Not sure yet on magnacharger or sts but that is a ways out yet anyway....

GM did good on these.

I really didn't like the new trucks when they first came out either, but they are growing on me and the fact that you can drop them 5/7 on 24s without c-notching the frame helps. lol Or at least that's what I read in one of the truck mags.

Didn't Know That You Could Get The 20's From The Factory On The Single Cabs. I Tried Building One Online And It Wouldn't Let Me Add The 20's On The Option List. GOOD LOOKING TRUCK BY THE WAY!

Hey Vince, I have heard that you can't order the 20's on a RCSB in the States, which seems pretty lame to me. Could be just the website?? Maybe call a dealer and see what they say.

I like the Sierra, its new and modern but still has classy good looks. I pulled up beside a guy today at the lights who had a black ext cab Silverado NNBS, he looked over, we both gave each the thumbs up and drove off. Thats pretty funny I thought, they are just trucks after all. There will be millions on the road in a couple years.

My dealer had issues ordering the side airbags. They didn't come up on his ordering forms even though listed as an option on reg cabs...so he submitted some kind of "manual" order and it went through fine. Go figure. Might have to do that with the 20's too.

Is that right....seems crazy to me if you guys can't order 20's but I can order them up here. Maybe they figure with the cold we're always at TDC anyway so the spring rate wouldn't bother us??!!

I really think these trucks look best as a RCSB. Too much of a flat spot in the middle with ext/crew. You really notice it on the Silverado.
