watch out the IFS is a hell of a lot more difficult then the Springs. also I would suggest pro-comp unless he wanted to go bigger then I would go full-throttle. they have some bad *** kits go check them out.

Never have liked pro-comp and IFS souldn't be too much different besides dealing with torsion bars but already know how to deal with them

if I was going to lift a truck again I would go all out and go full throttle. give me a nice 12 inch lift and some 40inch ground hawgs and I would love it. of course not on my truck now.

I have a 6" RCD lift and I am happy with it. I do mild off-roading and it has held up really well. I know that I am not going to be doing any rock climbing with it. The truck still rides great, not too much different than stock.

I live in fresno where full throttle , whiplash and twisted suspension is. Full throttle kits are bulky heavy and wont align. twisted makes the best kit out there.

The other thing is it only 6 months old and has 36,000 miles and he always towes or carries cable with it. Should I do any thing special for that reason.

That is a lot of miles for being only 6 months old. I frequently carry heavy loads in my truck with the RCD lift. I loaded up about 250 ceader boards in the back, and they were really wet. I think each one wieghed about 10 times what it doeas dry. I was really pusing the limit, but it drove fine. I haven't towed anything yet, but my grandpa is moving and I am going to tow a trailer then.
