Does anyone know if the 03 SS front clip is a direct bolt on for the 99-02???

 

I remember one guy on FSC had a GMC and he was going to put the 03 GMC bumper, and he said there were some brackets that were welded to the frame that had to be changed. If this is true, then it shouldn't be much trouble.

 

Ive heard its not much trouble, just a little bit more trouble then its really worth to most people. Esp being you've got to change the brackets, and i believe the fenders, and hood aswell.

 

i am well aware that the hood and fenders have to be changed out. I was just wondering if anyone has done it and if they ran into any problems.

Of course, I think this was an 03 truck to start with, but he bought all the parts and made it look right.

 

yup something like that. I am debating between the SS front end and the Escalade front end.

that would look bad *** on my truck lowered 2/4, with my wheels and a heads cam 6.0 pushin 420 to the wheels and a 100-150 shot....it would just be perfect. except my turd is white.

 

and a 4x4 it needs to go lower
