Default 03-04 Silverado Conversion for 99-02 Silverado

Has anyone changed the front end of 99-02 to a 03-04, I know you need the obvious things, Hood, 2 Fenders, Front Bumper, Grille and Headlights, But is there anything else I might need??? Like brackets, Hood Hinges, Hood Latch??

This may not even work, Im just curious, Thanks.

Default Right on, Deckhand.

Before buying my 02' in July of 02', I got a glance of the 03's front end so I hustled and got the 02' while I could.

Love the lines.

OBTW: Go Illini!!

it will work, they are basically the same truck, just a few engineering changes... If you are going to go thru the hastle, have you ever thought of the escalade front end???

you will need all the front brackets for the headlights, and the cowl cover too...

the little piece of plastic between the bumper and radiator..

but to each their own.

The frame horns are different, so you'll need to fab up some brackets to use the 03+ bumper on a 99-02 frame.

I think that the core supports should be the same. Cowl area looks the same to me, but I might be wrong.

If I could do any conversion at all, it would be to the 03+ GMC front end.

Why not do a denali front end? or if you did the 03+ use the avalanche front bumper smoothed and color matched with the big foglights looks sweet. I like the 03+ only if they are paint matched, the stock chrome bumpers make it look hideous but I am a fan of the SS look.
