Strength is the main thing. First gear is a slightly differant. Overall size is differant so you need to modify or buy a crossmember.

Some guys run built 60s behind a ton of power and do ok. Others have ultra bad *** 60Es go to hell with minimal power going through them. Again a plan is your best asset to decide how much you have to spend and how much you need.

lol thanks for the info guys.

Got another question for you. I want to do the 2/4 drop but my truck has the check lean on the drive front. when i order my spindles and shackles/hanger kit that alno will not fix the problem, and i still need to get the GM spacer or belltechs spacer to fix the problem to level out the truck...is that right? I heard "raise the front and the rear will follow", i say that because the left rear is lower than the right as well.

thanks

Beautiful truck OP, looks like it was really well maintained. That is my favorite year silvy.

And your description is better? you didn't address one mechanical differnce other than it's physical size and different 1st gear size. Bravo

I explained the three main differences that matter to you swapping between them.

I was trying to be funny. And as always this forum is full of *** holes. I have spent a lot of time on a lot of forums and this is by far the worst forum I have ever looked at. There is some good info and great looking trucks, but that is clearly overshadowed by caliber and maturity of the members.
