Sorry custm2500 I say possibly, right now, because I was adding up all the the other plans in my head and it added up to be a lot and I know to do a complete 6.0 swap with all the misc items along with it seemed to be the last thing to do on my list, since it will most likely be the most costly. And since having a solid rear end and tranny never really hurts I just thought that would be a more likely thing for me to do before that 6.0 swap...but I am still a novice when it comes to this perticular truck so please tell me if I am mistaken.
Hey blackcash thanks for the ideas. I am thinking of doing the 2" spindles with the shackle/hanger combo in the rear, not too sure of what company I will go with I hear djm is pretty good. I also been looking into the tahoe grill, I saw a picture of one it looked different. Yeah new tails are a must and the 04+ are the ones I am looking at. And as for a color matching, I am trying to find some pictures on here to see how I like it. And a new front valance will nice to, if I can find one I like.

Therefore a built tranny is a waist of money if he isn't making big power now and isn't sure he is going to later down the road. If he plans to go to a stout 6.0, then he would most likely be best to step up to a 80 therefore the built 60 would be a bad idea.
The main point I am trying to make is that to throw a built 60 in now would be a waist of time and money since he has no idea how much power he will put under the hood. Once the project gets to the point of power upgrades then decide what tranny you need and how much power it needs to hold.

As I explainted to the jack ***, deciding on your power level would be you best bet first. Then you will know how much tranny you need behind it. Simple stock 6.0 built 60 might be ok but most step up to an 80e event on a fairly stock 6.0. A radical stroked 6.0, or nitrous fed your best bet would be to get an 80e and have it built.
Picking a tranny now may be a waist of money and time in the long run.
