Default 00-06 Suburban w/03+ Silverado front end?

Hi guys,

I haven't been around much since I sold my NNBS about a year ago (Damn, already?) I was thinking about getting a Canyon/Colorado with the 5.3 but now I figure it's best to go with something cheaper so I won't have car payments while I finish college.

Anyways, I've ALWAYS wanted a Suburban since I was a kid so I figure why not. Gas mileage will be about the same as the GXP I have and I've found some cheap 01-03 ones (Preferrably want the updated 03, steering wheel controls.) I thought I saw someone here on the board who made a SS clone 'Burban, black I think. My question is what all is involved in doing the swap? Would I need to get everything included here? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Parts...=p4506.c0.m245 Or would it be simpler than that? Also I'd want the body side moldings if it was possible, although I think it would be tricky.

Any other ideas/suggestions welcome.

Thanks!

you wont need all that. just the fenders, hood, grill, lights, bumper and maybe brackets. i like the truck front end on the SUV's if they are tastefully done. i think they sold with the truck frontend in Mexico.

Yeah, I remember seeing a Suburban when I was in Mexico in 2004 and I said WTF when I saw the Silverado front end. I should just get one exported from Mexico lol. Well if I only need the hood, fenders, etc. then it should be cheaper than the initial 3k I first thought. Sweet! All I gotta do now is sell my GXP
