Default WRX? need info

My friend is gettin a 05 WRX, thats the only thing i know bout them. Im sure its a Manual. but i dont know what engine options or anything like that.

But what do these run in the 1/4?
He is not the best driver, especially with a clutch.

We are goin to run when i get my built trans, TC, and 4.10s put in.
Just wondering if i need to go ahead and get the nitrous?
haha

The twin turbo'd 300hp cars run low 13's stock.
Go ahead and get the N2O!

The 05s had the 2.0L engines in them. With a good driver in them they might hit a mid 14. If it has exhaust and a tune, it will pick it up quite a bit. He might mph you if you're can't run the 91 mph (with the current hot weather) in your sig. These cars, especially with the 2.0, are all about the launch. AWD is great but unless you do it right, it'll bog way out of the power range.

For reference the 06 model WRXs come with the 2.5L and they run low 14s, high 13s stock. If you get the gear, TC, and tranny work done it shouldn't be a problem.

He has to pay it off before he even thinks of a single mod..
Dont plan on beating him, just wondering what it will do stock with a average driver.

STI has a turbo, intercooler, AWD, short throw, better clutch i think, more suspension mods, better exhaust etc. lance armstrong helped develop it if that means anything to you. he's the man.
