haha what most these hemi owners don't know is that some1 already cracked out computer. its cracked just like an egg. they can do anything and everythin they want. even set it to where it can tune for turbo or supercharger up to a 2 bar signal MAP. so u can get a tune. but i'm not sure if its gonna be avaliable to every1 in the future or not. some of the lucky ones got a custom tune and well. i know some1 will have their shiftpoints at like 6700. so they got it all figured out its just a matter of what they want to do with the technology.

A few comments about this thread... onequick5.3 thanks for telling your story twice but it was clear to me the first time. I wish people would stop shaming others for speeding and what not, this is the street-racing and kills forum, right? It's hard to tell if someone was driving dangerously by reading a story and even if they were, you're not their mother. I don't mean any offense to anyone in particular, it's just my opinion. A cammed & modded 5.3 vs a Hemi with exhaust, no surprises there but as far as Hemis being slow; I've never seen one that was. I beat a 4X4 crew cab very badly once but most have been pretty quick as far as trucks go. However I think it's true that most guys driving Hemis with intake and exhaust think that their pretty bad *** IMO. I don't care, I love running into other trucks that wanna play. I feel sorry for you guys that live in places where there aren't a lot of fast trucks around. I run into modded trucks all the time where I live.

Goldenvelvet- I'm looking for internals for my summer motor build. She's in FL right now getting some "other" go fast goodies and more good stuff tuning Hopefully the aft6ermarket will open up a little. I'm having to have too much custom work done

haha he knows that after i beat him its going right back in cause he is a sore loser.

WT485SPDSilverado, i got just a few mods. now i should be in the low 8's if i can get some drag radials. but as of now i have CAI, Exhaust, long tube headers, 3 y-pipe, 3 cut-out, 4.56 gears w/ detroit locker. and a few other things here and there. what i'm waiting to do is put my cam in (which is sitting here in my room), new valve springs, waiting for my programmer to get here. hopefully my buddy will come through with a high stall torque converter. once i get it half way together it should run low 12's. right now its at low 13's. once i get my 12 i will post my new times up but i'll leave the slow time under my sig for a while

True- too bad it won't match the silver though

Your truck is coming along nicely, sounds great! Wish we could've put the ET Streets on it tonight and took it to the track. Maybe we could get one of these slow Hemi's to tap a 8.0 or maybe even pop the 7's. (1/8th mile track is all we have close)
