Default Upcoming race.

Have an upcoming rematch with a Formula I raced several months ago...

last time was 15-90mph roll, and I spun all of first and got beat by 2 lengths to 90mph.

Since last time I've added 4.10s and eaton (from 3.42's open locker) and went from 255/70/16 stockers to 275/70/16 grabbers uhp's.

He has added stall (don't know what size) since last time. Last time he had lid and full exhaust.

Thinking of adding a 3000stall, but don't want my trans to take it out when it goes and waste that $ I paid for it.

How bad do yall think I will get beat? OR should I just stick to mustang gt's and wait for the 3k stall and more nitrous before I go after the LS1?

my good friend has a formula but at one point it was a basic bolt on + big stall car and it went a best of 12.3 before Long tubes.
Im just warning you, dont run him from a dig if he has any chance of hooking up. Its a night and day difference. after longtubes the car dipped into 11's

+1 on the add stall. it makes huge difference

I'd rather beat a mustang than a fellow GM anyway. But, I may just put the 200 jets in and get it done.

Oh yeah, bottle will be ready to rock. Might blow the welds on teh intake and have the mad scientist rip the block apart when I'm done, but I just want respect.

When I get my trans built and fuel pump upgraded, I will throw some bigger noids, Z06 cam/springs on this beast, and run a 200+hp progressive shot and give the 5.3 all it can handle. Shoot for 500+rwhp. This thing may turn out to be a beast when I'm done with it.
