Default Took down a ssr...

I'm driving and this red ssr cuts me off, I mean I was foot to the floor to keep from hitting him. I now stuck behind some jackass revving his engine in the middle of the street with lots of traffic. He slowly goes then hits it and starts dodging traffic. I end up in the turn lane right behind him and he is still revving his engine and bumping the rev limiter.

Light goes green and he moves so slow around the turn I get in the other lane and hit it from about 20mph. I got 2-3 lengths by 65 and let him give me a good fly bye. I launched on him at the next light but he didn't want anymore. I gave him a thumbs up for being an idiot and got a middle finger.

All happened at about 10pm

Nice kill! The SSR was disappointing in performance, IMO. The 2003 and 2004 SSR's only had a 5.3 which was only good for high 15's in the 1/4 mile. The 2005 and 2006 models were given the LS2 which helped performance but it still was not impressive for the type of vehicle. I see a couple SSR's running around today and most of them are driven by old guys, lol.

My buddy's dad had one that was an '03 or '04. I ran him at the track and put at least 2-3 lengths on him everytime. He wasn't happy. Next week he sent it off to get supercharged.

SSR's were a stupid GM idea. I can't understand how they can approve that thing yet won't bring back the Typhoon or Syclone when performance trucks are actually in need...not a useless wanna be show car that barely moves.
Nice kill in any case.

I just got lucky and ran into a chump...

I would have loved to run from a dig. I had a great launch but he just flat gave up...
