SVT Cobra?

SVT Cobra?
Passed a SVT and goosed it a bit as I got into the left turn lane, and he bit pulling in behind me waiting for the green. At the green i turned left onto a 4 lane freeway and kept a steady 35mph as he got int the lane to the right of me. He crept up from behind and punched it right as we lined up getting the jump on me.
I mashed it, downshifted, tires barking groans as weight shifted and I was off. He had me by 1/2 a length and I was walking up on him, shifted into 2nd. and then I really started pulling past him before we had to shut it down @ 90 at the next light, and he turned off.
How is this possible? Dont the SVT's have like 600rwhp? Was he doggin it....I dont think so!

No way 600rwhp. If thats what 600rwhp is like then I need 1000rwhp lol. Me and my girlfriend test drove one and I think they only have 390hp at the flywheel, I think you were on the way to take him to school.....even with a different pulley on his supercharger you shouldn't have had a problem.

Not really legit unless from a dig but yeah, he was beat. Suprised he turned off like that
I got the 600hp from a SVT web site...guess you cant always believe what you read on the net!
Asked my Boss today if I could leave early next Weds (30th) to go to the track...he's thinking about it.

Does your boss have a Cobra or something?
No, but he's cool. I come in early every day and work for free, so on occasion I get to go play!
