Surprised the s*** outta me.
I was playing around in Mama's Indy today since I have to go back home tomorrow and I won't get to drive it for a while. 
Anyway, I had been trying to provoke a race for a while, the whole time getting the right rear nice and sticky 
. Finally after about a half hour of scaring the 
outta all the 
that seems to infest Raleigh, a RCSB Chevy about a 99 I'm guessing pulls up next to me at the light. We were both turning left and I was on the outside My neighbor has a ECSB that I race some and I know they are quick so I wasn't expecting a great outcome. He reved at me so I figured "What the Hell. I haven't gotten anybody else to try me so..." Anyway, the light turned green and much to my surprise and delight, I hooked and he didn't. 
I guess the hard left put enough weight on the ol peg-legger to keep traction. When he finally did get going I was already going straight and too far out for him to catch. 
The bottom line was traction but I'll take a W any way I can get it.

Good kill, but i think its 
because those trucks are unbeatable 
..But a win is a win however you gotta take it

$25,000?I've got maybe $7,000 in mine in performance mods that is.You gotta figure Ford didn't screw around w/ these trucks.If somebody dropped that kind of money into one it would be a 9-10 sec truck.I take it you never dynoed it.

One of the two guys I know with a L bought it and got mad because another guy bought a SRT-10 and put a 200shot on it. The L guy spent a whole bunch of unnecessary $$$ on stuff that didn't really mean anything, he's clueless. 
I never got mine dynoed but I hope to be able to this summer.

Of course then again the L is still cheaper to mod in the long run probably.
