Default stayed with a Solstice

was in Huntsville this weekend and was driving around town familiarizing myself with the layout of the town and came up next to some guy and his girlfriend in a New Pontiac Solstice with a targa. he looks over and smiles, giving no indication that he wants to race but takes off when the light turns green. as soon as i hear him get on it, i floor it and stay even with him till 70 when we hit the next light. he turned off at the light. I thought those things were supposed to be pretty fast but I wasn't impressed...

Acceleration for the GXP looks good. From a standstill it reaches 60 mph in 5.5 seconds (5.2 seconds with 1 foot of rollout like on a drag strip) and completes the quarter-mile in 13.8 seconds at 100.3 mph
still not FAST..but not bad for a bone stock 4cyl
