Just Regular... Run Anything Else And You Are Wasting Your Money.... Once I Tune It I Will Tune For Higher Octane... But There Is No Benefit To Running Higher Octane On It....

But I Also Broke It In Right.... I Beat The Hell Out Of It Right Out Of The Box.... I Think I Scared The Salesman Half To Death.... Becasue If You Baby It When Its Breaking In.. Your Rings Wont Wear In Correctly, And You Will Get Blowby Which Will Cost You Power, And Lower Your Mileage. You Will Floor It More To Get The Same Power I Get Cruising.... For A 4.8 My Little 8 Definitely Pulls Really Good

Also You With A Turbo... Every Time The Boost Gauge Goes East Your Fuel Guage Should Go West....

 

I hear ya CHEVRACER83....to bad your to far away or I would take you to school When I first bought my Hemi I just disconnected the torque management and dogged two SS within the first two weeks. Now I look for SS Camaro's and T/A's to race. Havn't found a local chevy pick up that has any beef other than the Pro Street ones on Saturdays, I hang out with at the B/K. My truck is no where near stock now, and I own a 2001 T/A and I beat it by a fender in a heads up race. (it is stock though with an ls1) My truck weighs in at 4600lbs in full street trim. I can break my 285/50r20's loose at a 15mph roll can your 4.8 do that?? (that's why it's in the body shop now..lol) I love you chevy guys you get so worked up over the Hemi...lol

i used to could break my tires loose from 0-40. but they were cheap all terrains.. my Toyos dont quite break loose until the 1-2 shift.

how much do you think the TM wire helps Mr Sinister?? Does it throw a code or anything?

 

I will stand with you on this one, it's funny how a 4200lb truck beats a 5600lb-cc/4x4 ram and all of a sudden hemi's are slow as a civic. He will get taught soon enough.

 

lets face it boys... all our trucks were slow when we bought them..... i don't care what you have .... except for lightnings and srt 10's....... we are all doing this for fun..... i think i speak for more than one person when i say that we don't honestly think that dodges just suck and cant be compared to a GM truck.... its all fun and games a little trash talk is what makes this so much fun..... if I or any other person really thought that they were so slow and wasn't worth the time then they wouldn't even post the kill..... when someone post a kill i usually is because it was a worthy truck or the person just asked for it and GETS HIS *** BEAT CUZ HE DRIVES A SLOW *** DODGE!!!!!!!!!!

 

I think the trash talk about the dodge trucks is stupid honestly.Most of the time you see guys talk about a kill on teh hemi when they raced it in a single cab stock truck vs a quad cab stock truck.I mean duh who do you think is really gonna win?
Go reg cab vs reg cab. I ahve seen em stock at the track put out a 14.6
I ahve not seen a Chevy go that low stock...correct me if am wrong however.
