Well I been thinking of selling my truck and getting a new vette....

So while I was out an about in the truck today I stopped in the local chevy dealer. Seemed like a slow day there, since I was the only customer, they where all askin about the truck tellin me it sounded nasty when i pulled up, commenting about the melted tire build up in the wheel wells and asking whats done to it.

So we got to talkin about a vette and what they might give me for the truck. Then the owner and a mechanic came over while I was talkin with the salesmen and started askin how fast it was and whats done to it. After tryn to pressure me to buy the vette now!!!, I told them Ide think about it and come back.

As I was walkin out with them following me, the owner asks if he can take a ride in it, I said sure why not.

We go out on a backroad behind the place, I drop it down to 1st and hammer it from about a 20 roll, the back kicks side to side violently and it hits the rev limiter, he wasn't hanging on to nothing and I can see him get tossed around like a rag doll. He immediately goes for the O-sh^&t bar above the glove box, so I speed up a lil still in 1st and try again this time it hooks and I wind up 1st and hit 2nd I prolly only got to like 65 or 70 and he tells me, Whoa! Whoa! I believe you! I was only on it for a few sec and he was calling quits, and he wasn't laughing just had a scared look on his face eyes wide open LOL.

Anyways just thought Ide share was definatley the funniest part of the day for me

no where near as good, but when i had my CB extrems, i pulled in to a dealership to see if they had a stepper motor for my fuel gauge. well i left her running, just cause i had only had her runnin for about a week, and was still enjoying hearing my 1st engine built run one of the sellsmen asked, 'thats not stock, is it?' i said not really, he asked how good she ran, and commented that whatever happens on there lot, stays on there lot, and city cops cant do anything...that bein said, i backed up, and did a good 10 second brake stand the look on there faces were priceless

 

Did that to my boss! lol, he NEVER asks me to drive anywhere anymore

 

I loved the melted tire in wheelwells. It's cool they actually sound like enthusiasts at that dealership, instead of just being suits. How often have u been in a place where u know more than the salesman.

So u save on gas cause u never have to drive. His ride is prolly a bit slower.

 

LMAO! gotta love melted tire rubber in the wheel wells.

 

You know what's even better, they know they can't even produce anything close and that's why they want it... and they're skeerd you'll walk if you don't get what your looking for.

Honestly, I'd like to have a Vette too, but I saw this CTS-V in town AGAIN.... OMG.
