RX8 Kill
#1
prolly nothing to brag about, but an unprovocked kill is an even sweeter kill. leaving the uncle's house tonight turning onto the highway with me is a pretty sweet new RX8. in the back of my mind i'm like hmmm...maybe, but i'm in the middle of tweakin my tune and didn't have the scanner up'n runnin, so i really shouldn't. we are crusin along about 70ish, him up in front of me in the opposite lane, and after a couple of miles he slows for a turning car. i catch up to him and barely pull ahead. well i notice the driver gettin all giddy about something and then he jumps up next to me. i'm thinkin here i am with my tune half tweaked and this dude wants some. well i didn't have to think too long as when i just gave the throttle a touch, in the course of normal driving, he was on it. i'm like damn dude give me a sec. he's a half a car ahead when i nail it from 70 and it's on. gotta say he gave me a run till about 85 then by 120 he was squinting to read my tag. i let off and he never slowed down, waived, or said good bye, but just kept truckin. haven't heard anything about the new rx8's, are they supposed to be quick?

Yeah Good Kill! I Would Like To Know How Fast They Are Too Cuz Im Supposed To Race One This Weekend. I Think Ill Be Able To Pull Him Pretty Hard Until About 60 But Then I Think The Weight And Aerodynamics Factor Is Going To Come In.

The best time I could manage in my RX-8 was a 14.6 (N/A) & 13.9 (NOS). Still not bad for a 1.3L
. From 2000-3500RPM it's pretty weak, but 4500-10,000RPM it screams. This car is not realy much of a drag racer it's suited more for road courses. I leave the drag racing up to my supercharged R/T
