A guy here in town has an '04 Roush Mustang (I'm not up on them so I don't know what all it has performance wise) I have tried to get him to play before but he always just pokes along.

Well, today he decided he wanted to try me so I proceeded to show him the back of my truck. We were on a 2 lane road going the same direction when I came up on him. He was running along about 60mph so I pulled along side and motioned for him to go. I gave him the jump then I punched it. I let off somewhere around 130mph and he was about 50 cars behind, LOL He stayed in it even after I tapped the brakes, it took him a while to catch up even while I was coasting down, but he didn't do a ricer fly by at least.

He followed me to where I was going and pulled up and said, "Damn, I knew that truck was supposed to be fast but I had no idea you could pull on me up top like that" I just smiled and said, yeah-not bad for a stock truck, huh? I told him to consider himself lucky that I didn't have a bottle with me or I woulda sprayed him.

There are three stages all together. I believe Stage 1 is just a body kit/exhaust and it adds like 5000 grand to the price. Stage 3 is where they add performance mods and it like 15-20k above sticker price. Check out the Roush site for full details.

 

There's a guy I go to college with that's got a v6 Rousch Mustang. It seems to be pretty slow. Nice kill btw.
