went to mexico this past weekend too, ran my truck once right when I got there, then I went to park it and this guy came and told me "hey you want to race that mustang"??? I was like which one?? it was a ~97-98GT 4.6 5or6speed??? I said ok well since I have no e/t's I spun quite a bit and he got the jump by about 1.5cars, then once I shifted into second I just cruised right by him like nothing and put about 1.5cars on him by the quarter... weird thing I only ran a 15.5??? it was about 2pm and it was hot but I think the air or too much humidity was real bad that day.... or the measuring device in mexico is messed up, they dont give you no damn 60ft or mph or nothing just the 1/4 mile seconds, and thats it...

also raced like a 70model chevrolet, it sounded like it had a big cam.... dont know what he had but he did have some M/T's tires on..... I was getting ready to leave and my wife said can you do a pass and can I ride with you??? I was like huh??? she hates all that ****!!! so I said ok... so went in line and lined up against this truck and right off the line the truck got about 2trucks on me, (again damn street tires) but seemed that was all he got before I hit second I was right on his door then second hit just pulled on him all the way to through the quarter... my wife had a big smile on her.... I was like hmm maybe she wont bitch no more when I keep modding the truck but anyways just wanted to share....

this was actually the first time that I race over there, they only do races on special days when the town is celebrating something... but here lately for the past 3months they've been racing like every two weeks I believe....

 

oh yeah did I mention that after I raced the mustang he left the track about 5mins later!!! he probably thought there was something wrong with his car!!

hey did you see a titan there>>? some frinends go there they went this week on sunday i think but they like to lie alot he sai his titan runs high 14s, altough all the rcsb 5.3s in other words 400SS trucks are running 15s stock.. my friend told me thwere was an old chevy like the one you beat with slicks with a bad *** sounding motor hahah now i now its just a slow *** trruck i knew that **** was a bbig liar hahah.
