we must have something in the water down here, lol. there are several daily driven paxton novi 5.0's running in the 9's around here.

one of them is Omar, he was the the guy on "PASS TIME" with the black 5.0 that went mid 10's and blew the judges minds. He now has the combo figured out. His ride has an aluminator motor and the paxton. I think his best time was around 9.2's. with the stock motor they are runnin 9.6's to 9.8's

The 5.0 is a monster when done right. They are a great platform to start with, and for $10k you can run 9's all day long. be carefull if you try to run the 5.0's down here in the swamp lol.

P.S. I'm not a Ford guy, but just giving them props were it's due

Haters gonna hate. The new 5.0s are solid cars but like all cars the driver determines how fast it will go. Lets not forget they also run 87oct from the factory.

I think they have already ran 10s on motor only. Intake/exhaust/tune/tires and a shot and you have a 10s car on a prepped track with decent weather.
