My buddy has a 06 sti with a downpipe and full exhaust. We have been wanting to race for a while I was pretty sure he would beat me, so we line up on this perfect 1/4 mile with a light. The light goes green and he lauches hard on me, but i stoped his pull around 30 and by the end of the 1/4 i was at his back bumper. We raced one more time from a 30 roll and he beat me by about a foot. I think if I had better tires I would have beat him because everytime i shift from 1-2 I get pretty good spin. this is all without nitrous.

Sounds like your truck runs strong. I bet it would have been different if you were on the kit.

 

I call B.S. Not trying to be a dick but there is no way You can hang with him off the bottle. Those little cars are no joke stock, especially compared to a mostly stock truck.

 

I thought he was on the bottle i read it wrong, i dont think the sti could how to drive, they are 13 second cars stock

 

he isnt the best driver in the world but he is good. i have beat a couple mid 14 second cars with my truck so i dont think its hard to belive my truck will run a low 14 without the bottle and that would be pretty close to what he will run, next time i will get a vid for the non belivers

 

well the car does weigh in at 3100 compared to your 5100 and he should put down close to 250whp and you put down 280rwhp so you see what people are getting at, 30 more hp you have on him but 2k lbs.
