Nothing personally here but you don't have a chance against that LT1.

Some mods you can do though is 93 octane, you can get some octane booster for it too, take off the spare tire and the passenger seat but thats about it.

I really admire your optimism, young man. Be careful with that racing stuff and make sure you can stop that big truck effectively also.

you will get smoked by every one of those cars.

Trust me those B18's and the 16 are suprisingly quik, the LT1 will hand you your *** or not even want to race, the 3000gt runs a high 16 sec quarter so that would be your closest race. other than that you are screwed and make sure you dont put any $$$ on the line.

I'm with everyone else. These cars have a huge weight advantage on you, you could pull most of them in the 60' I'm sure, but you can't hang on the top end. If you dont want to be completely embarrased, do some weight reduction like was mentioned above, pull the spare tire, passenger seat, tailgate. If the environment is clean enough, pull the air filter for each round. then hope for the best.

I wouldn't bother, I don't think doing either of those would help much. V6 silverados are pretty slow, no offense. Like the other guys said the LT1 will more than outrun you. Save yourself the gas, don't bother with him. Play around a bit, have fun, then save your money and do an engine swap sometime in the future.
