if were going to talk about conservative GM takes it, what can you say about a
lq9 6.0L only doing 345hp to the crank and an Iforce 5.7 doing about 381hp at the crank that aint to conservative IMO ! i would expect a taco on a 5.7 sc doing better then low 12 keepng in mind they rape the **** out of most v8 truck with just a v6 !(when stock) becouse of there power to weight ratio!

You can't really fairly compare an lq9 to an iforce power wise. There is a few years difference as well as technology (dual vvt-i). When gm came out with that motor the highest hp motor was the hemi also putting out 345. I'm sure if Toyota put out a 381 hp motor back in 2002, gm would have made the lq9 put out a lot more power. It's all about competition. If it wasn't ford would still be using that sorry *** 5.4 triton. Lol.

gm is way more conservative , lq9 6.0 ONLY making 345hp, and in 07 the ly6 dint make a pony more , toyotas are fast no dought about , but i dont think there conservative, toyota brought out the new tundra to spank , chevy , ford , dodge in every thing possible, 0-60, 1/4 mile, towing , ect, and i must admit they did a perty good job , but i think they jumpped the gun , cuz I take miy hat off , for the gm 6.2 backed by that 6L80e, i dont care how fast other trucks are stock , that 6.2 will spank it! N/A to N/A
