Pulled on a 2003-2004 Mach 1
#1
Pulled up next to a douche bag wearing racing gloves with a flame steering wheel cover driving a manual Mach 1 with his hat backwards. Recently Procharged my '99 1500 excsb that puts 345/375 to the wheels @ 9lbs. He had been looking at my truck for the duration of the light and I thought nothing of it, i had my hand out of the window just ready to cruise. Next thing i know the guy is ***** to the wall smokin' the tires and by the time I perk up and hit the gas his rear bumper is passing me. He got the jump on me and after I shifted into 2nd I started gaining on him and then I passed him at about 70mph. I'm assuming he was a pretty bad shifter cause the results kind of surprised me. I looked at some of the specs of those cars and saw that a stock Mach 1 ran a 14.8 and one on nitrous ran a 14.2. I think the steering wheel cover and gloves weighed him down though. It was my first challenge since the install and tune so I was happy to accept.

I am pretty sure that the mach 1's with the manual tranny's have more hp/tq then the auto's.They run in the 13's stock with a good driver(muscle mustangs, fast fords mag). Not tryin to bust your ballz or nothin. Good kill and even beeter when it's a ford. sweet

Interesting. I dont know how fast your truck is or the times it run but for him to get the jump and you to pass him at 70 tells me your truck is in the 12s. He may have had an auto and it petered out at 70 and you took him. Good kill regardless.
