I need to chill but i am hot 'cause of the attitude of some douchebag in a SRT10. This is my story...

I was minding my business on my way home after a little OT today and I see a hood-scoop on the p/u in my rear view. I gave a little rev and when the light greened took a right and he followed. As he tried to pass I rolled it on to about 50% and kept him at bay.

There was too much traffic to race, actually quite congested so I backed off, cracked open the bottle, and armed the system hoping he'd come along side, which he did. This is when I got a glimpse of the srt10 badge. We we're going ~25mph side by side and I nailed it leaving 75-100' of Toyos behind me thru second gear. I slowed and he pulled along side, rolled down his passenger window and said "not bad for a 6 cylinder"

"What?" I said, thinking I had misunderstood and he repeated saying that's what my truck sounded like! I askd him if he thought because he had a 10 cylinder "pos" that he was the biggest baddest truck aound and if he wanted to pull off to a less busy street to see. All he could do is say insulting things about my mule and what an idiot i am for wanting to race him. I was so mad all I could come up with to say was that obviously I wasted fuel and time and gave him the

I've been wanting to humiliate one of those Dodge's forever and the first one I see is owned by a damn jerk. Well I feel better now that I've written about it. I hope I find that schmuck again, i think I'll dog his *** bad.

What does the SRT10 run?

 

I know there not as quick as your ride! not even close!!!! What a *****.....youll see him again and when you do just blow his *** away!!!
I dont think there is anything special about those trucks for what kinda motor they got in them.But just be patient "every dog has there day"

whats funny is i ran him for giggles when my truck was brand new... mind you a stock 4.8 with open diff and i pulled him.... mind you this was not on the street... it was where we tested our project vehicles. so there was no threat of harm but to ourselves...


i can tell you those srt 10's will beat a 4.8 (mine) by about 5 to 7 truck lengths truck lengths by the time i got to 98 mpy speed limiter.. but they are heavy.... dont ask me how i know.... you would smoke him quite easily... they have i believe 450 or so horse but thats behind a truck thats probably 800 lbs heavier than yours...

i dunno what they do to those dodges but they are some fat ones

alot (not all) dodge truck owners are like ricers... the bigger the decal the faster it is

 

they are pretty nice trucks and not slow. but im not a fan of v10's to me they sound almost as bad as rice. there is nothing like the sound of a v8.

 

Ah bill, Don't waste your time worrying about that D%$#Wad, Them things arent squat. My brother smoked one the other day, when it was over, my brother rolled down the windows in his crewcab Dmax and showed the guy 5 smiling faces, I Believe his feelings was hurt.

 

What bugs me the most is I was expecting friendly competition not inane childish behavior from another truck owner. I don't care if you ride a Harley or a Honda (well I do but I won't let you know it) if you can ride it well then bravo. Same with the trucks, I'm a GM fan but if you love your Ford then hooray for you.

The SRT10 is at least 100 HP down from your truck. He had no ground to stand on to talk about which truck sounds better, a droning smooth v10 compared to a dual exhaust stagered beat v8. You truck sounds badass Bill, and runs super quick. No comparison.
