Are you planning on fabbing one up or getting a kit?

The other issue that comes to mind with a small turbo and the quick spool is underhood heat while pulling. Kurt from Wheel2Wheel and I discussed towing with his turbo setup and he was saying that he had to be carefull to keep it out of boost because the EGT's would rise very quickly and the underhood heat would also rise quick enough to start bringing the coolant temps up. I believe this is the reason that the Detroit Speedworks kit also recomends to not tow. Just something to keep in mind. If you want to use this truck as your tow vehicle also, the bigger turbo may be an advantage there also.

i think the hot ticket for a daily driver and towing would be a very low base presure and just turn the boost controler down for towing. maybe have a 4-5psi spring and run that when towing. then use the boost controler to up it to 13 or so when not loaded.

i think 12-14psi(maybe less) will be enough max boost for me. mid 13's or even high 13's with no loss in comfort or reliability is my goal this time.
