Today I had my first kill with my gmc. I raced a friend twice 0-90 on his three honk start. He was around half a length behind my bumper at the end both times. Felt pretty good
Car details: '04 gt flatomatic, 3.2x gears, exhaust taken off after h-pipe for ***** and giggles, intake, 2 10"s + box as far as ballast
Mine: '05 longbed, 5.3/g80/3.73, obx headers, duramax muffler, 4" intake tube/airbox mod, blackbear 89 tune. Full weight + soft tonneau and bed liner.
It really surprised me. I'm not sure I could take the new edge five speed I drove before though. Stock torque converter really kills me from a dig

 

What is an Edge GT? You mean the V6 4 door SUV Edge made by Ford?

I bet your stock converter doesn't hurt you any more than his does his car! my mild bolt-on new edge(02 gt) dropped 7 tenths in the 1/4 and picked up 3mph after adding a pi 3200 tc.
