me vs lightning

you would think ford would of done better with the whole power thing but i guess itll be later on down the line. are they gonna come out with any other trucks like a lightning?

In the near future, the closest thing will be the Adrenaline, a Sport Trac with awd and a S/C'd 4.6. Hopefully, altho not for sure, the next gen L will follow a year or two after.

I test drove a lightning. I was in love. great power, and a very nice, sporty feel. It seemed to handle like a sports car

Only if the SRT10 driver can't drive. A good driver should pull about 13.1@105 in a RC and 13.4@103 in a CC. Good driver in an L will do about 13.8 or so @99-101.

But yeah, if the SRT10 driver can't drive, it's over.

And I've seen many a video of L's handing SRT-10's their asses too. For the time being at least, I'm gonna put my money on the L's 90% of the time. Now, once the SRT's are out a little longer, and everyone figures out how to launch them and drive them to their full potential, I'm guess the tables will be turned if the L is anywhere close to stock. That's my honest opinion of things.

Even so the SRT is waaayyy too espensive for what you get. Throw and damn pulley and tune on it and tap that ***
