Default Lost to a Stock SS

I got beat by a stock Silverado SS.
We went from a light and he got almost a full truck length on me by 30mph, BUT that was it. He couldn't pull anymore and I couldn't gain any ground; Stayed that way until about 75, or so, when we both shut down.

The guy was pretty cool- we chatted back and forth at the next light. He told me good run, I told him NICE TRUCK! He asked if I had a cam, told him no.

I need some gears, BAD!!!! I think with some 4.10's, it probably would've been dead even, or maybe me ahead- who knows. But I don't think I did bad considering he's running a 345/380 6.0L w/ AWD.

With your mods and being a RCSB you should of walked him or at least started to pull back on him.

Stock SS run low to mid 15's
Stock RCSB run mid 15's

Well, the best my truck ran with absolutely no traction at the track was a 15-flat. The last time I went, no track prep, plus Wheately tune= wheel spin.

And I thought the SS's run high 14's- like a 14.8ish...??
