Default LOL...My Dad wants a rematch!!!UPDATE CHEVY VS FORD

I raced him in his 04 Powerstroke with chip, intake, and exhaust. And I out ran him twice...once from a dead stop(4 or 5 truck lengths, and once from about 35mph(about 3 truck lengths) . He was whining about how he didnt know how to launch it so he said we would do it some other time.........well I just got a phone call.....he said he was practiceing and thinks he has it figgured out! So I think tomorrow night we will line up again and see what happens . I hope he beats me tho, because if he doesnt, he will probably cry because I beat him with my little chevy gasser AGAIN lol . But then I will just have to go and do some other stuff

So, we lined em up tonight. first, from 30 mph. I was pulling on him up to a bout 1/4 truck length then he let off. from 45, I was a 3/16-1/4 truck length ahead until i shifted in to 3rd..the truck fell on its face and he pulled ahead to about 1 truck length. then from 25...LOL...We live near the boeing plant in Everett so the strikers were all out picketing on the side on the road(road is like 6 lanes wide) and from 25 I pulled to about 1/2 truck length and then I let off at 90, also about 300 ft past the strikers, so we blew past them at around 80 and it was a hell of a show for them!!! I got killed from a dead stop with both of us launching in 4wd. the torque from that thing is incredible off the line ! I swear the front tires lifted off the ground, instantly he was 3/4 of a truck length and then we stayed even for about 330' and I let off cuz his lane was ending.

**Time for more mods!

Good times with the old man.

Guess he wasn't kidding when he told you that he had been practicing to launch.
