I can't say I'm proud but I did play with him for 4 red lights stop then lightly get on it and as soon as I got ahead of him he would stop. The last time the light turns green and he goes. He waited till a car pulled out in front of me and hit the hazards. I get behind him to turn and he turns also and takes off. I just start grinning since he hits another red light. I tach out at 3500rpms and launch. My girlfriend starts screaming and has no clue what I'm doing. I hit 2nd gear and still no traction but its over got him by a length before he gave up. Next light is red again and he just got behind me for the rest of the time. I rilly got a kick out of his want to race his way...

 

I know what you mean. I was fooling around with some kid in a V6 Mustang, sounded like he cut the exhaust off before the cat. Anyway we caught a couple lights and he just wouldn't have it, he just kept winding out his gear like he was waiting for just the right roll. So I tried a low roll after the 2nd light went green and he bit for a second but stopped racing but then he catches up to me. So I'm like ready for a 70 or 65 roll and then he's starts very slowly decelerating, engine braking his car and I'm like enough of this nonsense let's do this thing! I mean this went on for what seemed like forever and I keep goosing it, just waiting for him to get with the program. Just about the time I'm getting frustrated and ready to forget about it, he nails it at 55 mph. It's like the absolute worst roll for me cause it's very low in 3rd but too fast for 2nd. Anyway his car turned out to be pretty quick for a V6 auto, maybe he had gas and needed time to turn his valve on. By 95 I eventually started pulling away from him pretty good though but this was before I was cammed.

 

At least you had to hit 3rd gear. I can't find anything to run that isn't decided my 55mph got smoked by a ss camaro and a gti rest have been sad...
