Well last night me and some buddies went to the local car meet that happens every tuesday, well havin just installed my cam and gears and tune, I was lookin for trouble, 1st race was against KB from here, found him up there, from a dig he got the jump on me then I slowly reeled him in, then from a roll I just pulled away, 2nd race was against a 04 mustang gt, not sure of his mods but I made it seem as if he didn't see the light turn green, easy kill, next kill was a 05 turbo diesel with a 6 inch lift, didn't wunna rave me from a roll cuz I was having traction problems, so I race from a dig, he got the jumped then I pulled away easily, then he wanted to run again cuz he "didn't have his turbo turned up" and also so his friend could record it, pissed me off cuz he went before the light even turned so I said **** it and went back to the parking lot, he was bullshitting all night so I just told him I was done racing, next run was against a 04 monte carlo SS, no competition, once the light turned just kept puttin truck lengths on him, then last race was against a crew cab dodge ram with red neons, ugly, anyways it was the same outcome as the monte carlo ss, that was pretty much my night, pretty happy with my truck

 

Just wait till you get that stall put in

 

So does the truck drive totally different now? When are you taking it to the track?

 

Might take it to the track next week, its a totally different truck

Naw cam runs fine, just gotta get another tune from nelson, I'm idling a lil high at 1000rpms

oh ive been out of the loop... what cam did you go with.. i didnt even realize you had the 4.8

good kills... ya those monte carlo's are worthless, lol i raced my mom's 04 "ss" i wont even bore you with the story

Good runs man! It was cool getting to see a cammed 4.8L would do! That thing sounds frkn sick too.
